Davenport bioreactor will clean water going into Duck Creek

While nitrate and phosphorus from farm fields can end up in streams and rivers, thereby harming water quality, pollutants from city streets also get into watersheds.
In March 2016, the city of Davenport was awarded a $31,875 grant from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship to pay for a project expected to improve water quality at one specific location — Duck Creek near East 32nd Street.
